What: Casual BG gathering in central London played outdoors.

When: Sunday 16th March as of 2pm

Cost: Free entrance / 10% rake off winnings, incl. 50p per player to qualify for London Backgammon Tour rankings.

Format:. 16- or 8-player tournament(s) with 8- or 4-player follow-on jackpot(s) depending on attendance and on a first come / first enlisted basis

. 5-pt matches, except for 7-pt final

. 4 tiers entry level: £1 / £5 / £10 / £20 with corresponding pools

. 70/30 split by default but split arrangements welcome in all matches

. parallel chouettes / round robins / swiss welcome at any time

Access:. 10mn walk from Kensington Olympia overground station / 15mn walk from Holland Park / High Street Kensington and Shepherds' Bush tube stations

. Barclays' bike stand at the South West entrance of the park

. several bus lines to the South entrance - lines 9, 10, etc.

. free nearby car / motorbike parking on Sunday afternoons

Bring: . your own board if you have one

. a picnic rug if you choose to play in the grass
